Rita has a background in corporate and commercial law with expertise in international arbitration and trade law. She has been a member of the counsel team and has acted as tribunal secretary in proceedings under various institutional arbitration rules (UNCITRAL, ICSID, ICC, VIAC, FAI and sui generis). Rita has specific experience in disputes relating to energy, international employment, construction, manufacturing and shareholder agreements.

Rita brings over a decade of experience in project management, strategy and business development consulting. Along with a legal internship at UNCITRAL, Rita holds an MBA and has experience across various fields such as pharmaceuticals, diplomatic relations, International Trade Policy and Law and legal marketing.

Rita is actively engaged in various organizations such as Vice-Chair at R.E.A.L. (Racial Equality for Arbitration Lawyers), Young ICCA Western Europe Regional Representative, and as an associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).

Rita stems from a multicultural background with an international upbringing between Austria and The Bahamas and is an avid foodie and thalassophile.
