New Year…New Team Member!
It’s a pleasure to welcome 2023 and introduce you to our new Legal Counsel, Rita Kaufmann.
Rita has a background in corporate and commercial law with expertise in international arbitration and trade law. She has been a member of the counsel team and has acted as tribunal secretary in proceedings under various institutional arbitration rules (UNCITRAL, ICSID, ICC, VIAC, FAI and sui generis). She has specific experience in disputes relating to energy, international employment, construction, manufacturing and shareholder agreements. Rita also has over a decade of practice in project management, strategy, and business development consulting. She holds an MBA and has experience in pharmaceuticals, diplomatic relations, International Trade policy, and legal marketing.
Having been raised in both Austria and the Bahamas, Rita brings a unique perspective to our UAE team through her multicultural background.
